Comments:
- The draw used ball set 7 in the Guinevere machine and the average main Lotto prize was £24.06.
One in every 53.5 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.87% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £7,585,326.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included no wins.
- The number 22 is now outright top of both the
main number
frequency table (10 appearances)
and the winning number
frequency table
(12 appearances).
- Incredibly, the number 10 has now appeared in 4
consecutive draws, which
is a sequence unlikely to happen again for a long time ! Interestingly, before
this sequence it was stuck at the bottom of the main number frequency table
with only one previous appearance...
- Only one match for me this week as I predictably fail to win my first
prize for the 47th consecutive draw.
- £925,746 of unclaimed prizes (3.14% of the total prize pool) from this week expired at 11.00pm BST on Thursday 4th April 1996 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
