• The draw used ball set 5 in the Merlin machine and the average main Lotto prize was £28.11. One in every 62.5 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.60% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,281,447.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 12 wins totalling £120.
• This draw set the unwelcome record of having the worst ever ticket sales for a Saturday draw.
• I matched nothing on either of my two tickets, but far worse than the whitewash was knowing that if this was a rollover and I'd bought two additional tickets, then the second of those additional tickets would have won £10...
