• The draw used ball set 4 in the Merlin machine and the average main Lotto prize was £22.73. One in every 50.6 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.98% of players).

• Unclaimed prizes from this draw expired at 11.00pm BST on Monday 21st June 1999 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
