Comments:

• The draw used ball set 1 in the Arthur machine and the average main Lotto prize was £19.84. One in every 44.2 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=2.26% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £10,609,265.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 8 wins totalling £80.
• This draw had the lowest ticket sales of all the 525 draws to date, breaking the record set over 3.5 years ago. This, of course, meant that the total prize pool was the lowest of any draw where the jackpot had been won.
• I matched one number on each of my two tickets, so no New Millennium cheer for me then.
