Comments:

• The draw used ball set 5 in the Guinevere machine and the average main Lotto prize was £26.27. One in every 58.4 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.71% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,071,930.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 4 wins totalling £40.
• The two most frequent main numbers, 25 and 38, both appeared in the draw for the 61st and 59th times respectively. They are also the two leaders in the winning number frequency table (with 71 and 67 appearances respectively).
• I matched nothing on either of my two tickets, so a draw on one of the hottest days of the year so far did nothing positive to my bank balance.
