Comments:
- The draw used ball set 6 in the Lancelot machine and the average main Lotto prize was £20.71.
One in every 46.0 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=2.17% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £6,833,217.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 2 wins totalling £20.
- This was yet another set of winning numbers that have had two 3-matches
in previous draws:
Lottery #52 (7, 23 and 28) and
Lottery #40 (8, 23 and 28).
I will now only list prior 3-matches if
they occurred twice or more because of their increasing frequency.
- Camelot must be desperate for a rollover because this was the 14th
consecutive week where the jackpot was won and hence the
ticket sales fell for the 4th
consecutive week (equalling the record set in the 4 weeks leading up to
Lottery #38) to their lowest level for 14 weeks.
Similarly, the combined sales fell below
£90m for the first time since the scratchcards introductory
week.
- Another humdrum week for me as I only match a single number...
- £884,390 of unclaimed prizes (3.03% of the total prize pool) from this week expired at 11.00pm BST on Thursday 13th June 1996 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
