The draw used ball set 4 in the Merlin machine and the average main Lotto prize was £16.91. One in every 55.5 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.80% of players).

If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,668,747.

The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 10 wins totalling £100.

Tonight's TV show unusually completely failed to mention which machine or ball set was used (so I had to phone up Camelot to find out).
