The next table displays the draw order, revised frequencies and the last prior appearance of each of the 7 balls.
Comments:
- The draw used ball set 5 in the Arthur machine and the average main Lotto prize was £32.70.
One in every 47.0 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=2.13% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £4,396,167.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 6 wins totalling £60.
- The 26th appearance of the number 39 has left
the number 37 at the outright bottom of the main number
frequency table.
It also moved the number 39 to within one of the number 19
at the basement of the winning number frequency
table after its 28th appearance
as a winning number.
- The winning number pair 09, 27 has now
appeared 15 times since
the lottery began - a feat only managed by one other such pair
(01, 31).
- For the first time ever in the history of the lottery, a number
(28 in this case) has appeared in five
consecutive draws as a main number.
- Equally remarkably, 4 of the 7 winning numbers also
appeared in the
previous draw, which has never happened before.
In fact, there's a bizarre record streak going of 6 consecutive draws where 2 or
more winning numbers have appeared in the previous draw.
- This draw had the highest individual
jackpot for any Wednesday draw to date.
- The ticket sales
for this rollover draw were the lowest ever for any rollover draw so far.
- I matched one number on my first, second and fourth tickets and nothing
on my third ticket to ruin the first Wednesday rollover in over
10 months for me.
- A 5+bonus prize of £82,064 won by a ticket bought in the Surrey area expired and was added to the Good Causes fund.
- Unclaimed prizes from this draw expired at 11.00pm GMT on Monday 22nd March 1999 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
