Comments:
- The draw used ball set 2 in the Guinevere machine and the average main Lotto prize was £22.71.
One in every 50.5 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.98% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,437,970.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included no wins.
- There's no rest at the top of the
winning number
frequency table as the number 5 moves into the outright lead with
its 13th appearance as one of the seven numbers drawn each week.
- This was only the second time that 3 of the 7 winning numbers (5, 17
and 47) had
also appeared in the previous draw.
- No matches at all for me this week...don't look so surprised :-)
- £673,346 of unclaimed prizes (2.28% of the total prize pool) from this week expired at 11.00pm BST on Thursday 18th April 1996 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
