Comments:

• The draw used ball set 11 in the Arthur machine and the average main Lotto prize was £22.50. One in every 50.1 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=2.00% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £10,294,971.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 9 wins totalling £90.
• Ticket sales slumped to their lowest level for any draw in the history of the main lottery, meaning that the latest 3 Wednesday draws occupy the three of the four lowest ever sales slots. This directly contradicts Camelot's claim this week that "sales have levelled off".
• I matched one number on each of my two tickets, so that's another £2 gone up in flames.
• Unclaimed prizes from this draw expired at 11.00pm GMT on Monday 19th November 2001 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
