Comments:

• The draw used ball set 7 in the Vyvyan machine and the average main Lotto prize was £27.77. One in every 61.8 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.62% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £6,937,539.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 6 wins totalling £122.
• The 60th appearance of the winning number 39 has left the number 13 three adrift at the bottom of the winning number frequency table.
• The ticket sales for this draw were the worst for a Saturday draw ever, which obviously meant this draw had the lowest total prize pool for a Saturday draw where the jackpot was won.
• I matched nothing on my first ticket and two numbers on my second, so no win for me as usual.
• Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm BST on Thursday 26th July 2001 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
