Comments:
- The draw used ball set 1 in the Merlin machine and the average main Lotto prize was £29.05.
One in every 64.6 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.55% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,757,549.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 6 wins totalling £60.
- The top two most common numbers,
25 (second on 76 main
and 90 winning number appearances)
and 38 (leading on 80 main and 94 winning number appearances), both
turned up in this draw.
- In contrast to this, the 49th appearance of the main number 34
has now left the two basement-sharing numbers, 13 and
20, five adrift from the rest of the pack.
- The number 17 has now failed to
appear in 60 consecutive draws, making it
only 5 draws away from tying with the all-time longest main number
