Comments:
- The draw used ball set 4 in the Arthur machine and the average main Lotto prize was £16.70.
One in every 37.2 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=2.69% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £10,914,658.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 9 wins totalling £90.
- The 84th winning number appearance of the
number 25 has given it a lead of five
at the top of the appropriate frequency
table.
- The 48th appearance of the winning number
48 has left the numbers 13
and 39 at the bottom of the winning
number frequency table on one appearance less.
- The 4-match prize
was the outright lowest for a Wednesday draw and the second
lowest of any draw.
- The jackpot, 5+bonus, 5-match and 4-match prize pools were
the lowest ever for any draw where there was at least one
winner in those categories.
- I matched one number on each of my two tickets, but I
didn't expect to do well after last Saturday's surprise win.
- Unclaimed prizes from this draw expired at 11.00pm BST on Monday 16th October 2000 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
