Comments:

• The draw used ball set 5 in the Guinevere machine and the average main Lotto prize was £25.88. One in every 57.5 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.74% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £9,114,220.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 10 wins totalling £197.
• The number 38 has joined the numbers 25 and 28 at the top of the main number frequency table after its 52nd appearance as one of the main six balls.
• I matched nothing at all on either of my two tickets, so 1999 continues without a win for me.
