Comments:

• The draw used ball set 6 in the Guinevere machine and the average main Lotto prize was £27.20. One in every 51.7 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.93% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £7,574,283.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 9 wins totalling £90. This was the third highest number of prizes to date that a jackpot ticket had previously won.
• The 46th appearance of the winning number 5 has pushed it to joint top of the winning number frequency table (level with the numbers 25 and 44) and to only one behind those two numbers in the main number frequency table after its 38th such appearance.
• The bonus number 20 has now appeared for the 11th time, giving it an unusual lead of two at the top of the frequency table.
• After being absent for 33 consecutive draws as a main or winning number, the number 19 finally appeared, handling the longest absentee mantles over to the number 3, which hasn't appeared as a main or winning number for 24 draws.
