Comments:

• The draw used ball set 1 in the Lancelot machine and the average main Lotto prize was £32.64. One in every 64.6 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.55% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £7,676,352.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 3 wins totalling £112. This is the second highest total value of prizes previously won by a jackpot ticket.
• The tenth appearance of the main number 19 not only means that all numbers have now appeared at least 10 times as one of the main 6 balls, but also that it joins the number 37 at the bottom of the frequency table.
• The number 19 joins the number 37 again at the bottom of a table - this time the one for winning number frequencies - with its 12th appearance.
• The main number triple 19, 36, 39 is only the eighth such triple to have appeared three times since the lottery began.
• Statistics can be a double-edged sword: whilst these were the best ticket sales since the midweek lottery began, they were also the third worst ever ticket sales for a single rollover.
• No match on my first three tickets and one match on my fourth ticket continue my terrible losing sequence.
