Comments:

The draw used ball set 4 in the Galahad machine and the average main Lotto prize was £22.66. One in every 50.4 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.99% of players).

If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,393,659.

The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 20 wins totalling £235.

One ticket combination has now won 36 prizes in the 690 main Lotto draws to date - two more prizes than any other combination has managed so far.

Although ticket sales crept back up above £40m, they were still the second lowest Saturday sales of all time.
