Comments:

• The draw used ball set 5 in the Guinevere machine and the average main Lotto prize was £20.97. One in every 74.2 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=1.35% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £3,054,700.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 12 wins totalling £183.
• One ticket combination has now won 32 prizes since the lottery began.
• All the 5 possible colours of bonus numbers have now appeared at least 100 times.
• Although I only matched one number of my first ticket, it was nice to match 3 numbers for the second consecutive Saturday draw (on my second ticket this time) and it nicely coincided with the 600th main draw too.
• Unclaimed prizes from this week expired at 11.00pm GMT on Thursday 21st March 2002 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
