Comments:

• The draw used ball set 6 in the Guinevere machine and the average main Lotto prize was £15.40. One in every 48.5 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=2.06% of players).
• If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £8,563,695.
• The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 8 wins totalling £80.
• There are now four numbers tied at the bottom of the main number frequency table with 42 appearances each - the numbers 13, 19, 20 and 34.
• Camelot appears to have incorrectly calculated the unwon jackpot prize (their figure is £1 too high) - here's the calculations:

  Clearly the temptation to round up the 99.6p has been too much, but it's definitely against the standard formula published in Camelot's rule book - the final prize is always rounded down to the nearest pound, regardless of value of the remaining pence. Apart from the above temptation, one possible other cause might be the failure to round down the 45% of sales to the nearest 10p, which would result in this calculation:
