Comments:
- The draw used ball set 6 in the Arthur machine and the average main Lotto prize was £17.59.
One in every 39.2 main Lotto tickets won a prize (=2.55% of players).
- If all 13,983,816 ticket combinations were additionally purchased for the main Lotto game, they would have made a loss of £10,846,098.
- The prior history of the main Lotto jackpot ticket included 12 wins totalling £180.
- The number 25 has not only stretched its lead
to two in the main number frequency
table after its
57th such appearance, but now also
has a remarkable lead of five in the equivalent winning number
table thanks being
drawn as one of the seven balls for the 67th time.
- The ticket
01 09 25 31 32 35
has become the first to win 23 prizes in the 345 draws to date - even
managing to snag a £10 win in each of the last two draws along the way.
- The jackpot prize pool was the third lowest
of any draw where the jackpot was won. The 5+bonus, 5-match and 4-match
prize pools were also the third lowest ever.
- I matched one number on my first ticket
and nothing on my second ticket and you don't need telling
that it's another £2 deficit on my bank account again...
- A 5+bonus prize of £72,052 won by a ticket bought in the Cardiff area expired and was added to the Good Causes fund.
- Unclaimed prizes from this draw expired at 11.00pm BST on Monday 11th October 1999 and have been added to the National Lottery Distribution Fund.
