I'm currently in my 13th subscription period (which lasts 52 weeks).

• I initially bought my "normal" tickets (until I got the first subscription of course) and rollover/Super Draw tickets from retailers such as Tesco, Kwik Save or W.H. Smith, but from draw #976 (Saturday 30th April 2005) onwards, I buy all rollover/Super Draw tickets from the official Camelot site.

• You can apply for subscription forms by phone (0845 9125000 - charged at local call rates), but it's much easier to do it all online now. After a decade of "offline" subscriptions, I switched to a (2 year !) online subscription from August 2005 onwards. Camelot will mail you a cheque if you win £10,000 or less, but above that, they send you a letter asking you to go to a Regional Lottery Centre. They also send you a renewal reminder with about a month to go to the end of the subscription.

• From Lottery #71 onwards, I have subscribed for two tickets per draw because of the increased ticket sales. To summarise my ticket selection, here's the offsets from my base subscription ticket (#1 in the table below), picked to avoid duplicating any numbers in the tickets:

  Note that if I buy 8 tickets for a triple rollover, I will guarantee myself at least 1 one-match.

• Note that Camelot's uncertainly about getting the renewal of the licence to extend through to 2008 meant that subscription renewal forms sent during early 2001 (mine included !) only allowed you to subscribe for a maximum of 6 months, which is why my 7th subscription only covers 52 draws at a cost of £104. Ironically, I received my renewal form after Camelot's licence extension had been confirmed, but I still was forced to subscribe for 6 months instead of the usual 12.
